On our Quest to see all 50 states before our son graduates from High School in 2012 - we will be visiting 16 states plus DC over the next 3 1/2 weeks. This blog is to chronicle our trip and allow our friends and family to see what we are up to.

Packing
It helps to pack your overnight bag a few days before you leave and then to live out of it - that way you discover all the things that you would be sorry you forgot to take on your trip. Like your toothbrush.
Or, you pack everything up and leave out the clothes you are going to wear for the next couple of days at work....and you end up wearing a brown belt and brown sandals with your blue pants because you forgot to get all the accessories to go with those clothes out of the room where your guests are now staying! :-)
Oh, well. Life is good, vacation is almost here and we are going to have a wonderful time!
